Feminized Hemp Seed

If you're looking to grow from seed, and not have to worry about rouging males, our feminized seed is a great choice for you and will produce a higher percentage of females. We have specifically chosen our specific cultivars to produce high quality seed. All of our cultivars are bred and managed organically, by us, in our own greenhouses.

abacus 2.0™

OG x Purple Urkle x Hemp

Our Abacus 2.0™ is one of the most desirable smokable hemp cultivars on the market. After years of genotype selecting, Abacus 2.0™ feminized hemp seed is finally available. This cultivar has a unique terpene profile as compared to all of the hemp cultivars currently on the market. It has a true OG terpene profile which is especially nice for smoking. Because Abacus 2.0™ is a vertically growing hemp strain, we recommend some additional spacing if you’re growing for smokable flower production. Abacus 2.0™ is a ColoradoCBDseed proprietary strain, please contact us about licensing agreements.

Abacus Early Bird™

We recommend our proprietary Abacus Early Bird™feminized hemp seed for our large-scale agricultural hemp farmers. If you are looking for a fast-growing, large flower-producing cultivar that can be harvested early, Abacus Early Bird™ is for you. This cultivar is not an auto-flower strain, which typically tend to stay small, but instead a vigorous growing strain which not only allows you to harvest early, but maximizes your yield per acre. Furthermore, depending on location, Abacus Early Bird™ can potentially get you multiple harvests per year. In 2018, we harvested on Aug 24th (in Colorado) and yielded over 1.5 lbs. per plant. This was from seed sown directly into the ground. Abacus Early Bird™ produces flower that has minor cannabinoids CBDV and CBC which comes out to be almost 5% in the extracted oil. This is a vertical strain which can be row cropped. Based on past success, growing large-scale outdoor, we recommend planting up to 10,000 - 15,000 plants per acre.

Abacus Early Bird 2.0™

…

This proprietary cultivar is our Abacus Early Bird™ back crossed into our Abacus 2.0™. Bred to provide the stable and unique terpene profile of the Abacus 2.0™ combined with the vigorous growth of the Abacus Early Bird™. The Abacus Early Bird 2.0™ was developed to be a smokable or full spectrum oil hemp cultivar. What is the difference between the Abacus Early Bird™ and the Abacus Early Bird 2.0™? The Abacus Early Bird™ is for large scale production of CBD and other minor cannabinoids whereas the Abacus Early Bird 2.0™ should be grown more for boutique smokable flower or full spectrum oil, where the unique terpene profile is essential.

Cherry abacus™

Original Cherry crossed with our own Abacus™ that we bred in 2016. Out of 2000+ plants we selected two genotypes with the best terpene profile and continued to breed these together to stabilize the cultivar. Imagine the strong Cherry essence combined with the wild berry smell of the Abacus™. This is the personal favorite of the team for smokable hemp strains. Cherry Abacus™ is more of a vertical grower, therefore we recommend planting the feminized hemp seed at 5000-7000 plants per acre.
